Peter Lindbergh, born Peter Brodbeck on November 23, 1944 in Leszno, is a German fashion photographer. He now lives in Paris, New York and Arles.

Lindbergh, although born in the Wartheland region of Poland, grew up in Duisburg in North Rhine-Westphalia situated at the confluence of the Rhine and Ruhr rivers near Düsseldorf, in Germany, together with his father, a candy vendor, his mother, a housewife, and two brothers. Photographs of him have been published by magazines including Stern, Harper's Bazaar and Vogue.
